Services Cancelled- Covid-19 Response
Dear Living Hope Family.
As I said in my communication this morning the situation with the Covid-19 virus is changing rather quickly. After consulting with a couple of physicians that I know very well and trust implicitly we have made the decision to cancel our upcoming worship services until further notice and to also cancel our March break youth activities.
We are doing this to try and prevent the spread of the virus. One of the doctors to whom I spoke said that the young healthy people who would come to church tomorrow would be ok. But if the virus was transmitted from one person to another and the newly infected person took it home to a grandparent, the consequences could potentially be grave. So in an attempt to prevent the virus from spreading we are taking this unprecedented step even though right now the guidelines recommend gatherings of less than 250 people.
We think that this is the wise and responsible step to take. Our staff will be at the church tomorrow to greet any of our number who do not receive this message. I will present my message and have it uploaded so that we can continue our study in Acts and receive teaching from the Word of God.
Again, if you are in need or if you know anyone, from our church family or otherwise who need help and support please let us know. It's our desire to allow the love and grace of Jesus to shine through us during this public health crisis.
In His Love,
Pastor Paul.
