Who Was Paul?

1. Following after the example of the Apostle Paul, what is our fundamental identity? How should this change the way we think and live? How could this change our church?

2. Paul’s expressed purpose was to make the truth known to God’s elect to grow them in godliness. Do you share the same purpose? How do you pursue this goal?

3. There should be a connection between truth and godliness manifest in our lives. What threatens to separate those two things? How can we combat this?

4. The hope of eternal life manifested through the word is meant to be our ultimate motivation. How have you found this to be the case in your experience?

5. Paul knew his place in God’s story. Do you know your place? If not, how can you find that out? I so, are you being faithful to live it out?
